A fundamental part of the BRICKS 4 KIDZ^® philosophy is through the STEM concept: science, technology, engineering and maths.  And the teaching techniques have been shown to drive excellent improvement in children’s skills.

A leading US-based education research body, Advanced Education Measurement (AEM), conducted a study that measured student ability in targeted math and science skills for two BRICKS 4 KIDZ^® programs.  AEM designed a pre-test/post-test design for five groups; a one-hour in-school workshop and a six-week after school program for students ages 6, 8, and 10.

In just six weeks, the results were phenomenal.  The children showed improvements that ranged from an amazing 6.7 percent increase for years 3-5 to a 10.7 percent increase for years K-2.  Better yet, in the age six workshops students improved 11.3 percent on the post-test, age eight saw a significant leap of 37 percent, and age 10 improved a massive 44 percent.

So what do these great statistics really mean?

For the entire study, the average child improved an unbelievable 24.4 percent on the post-test, the equivalent of two and a half letter grades on an in-school test!
