Extreme Ninjas – $45

 

Ninjas… Go ! there is a new Ninja on the block and he is ready to fight to defend his honour and establish peace. The team of 5 Ninjas all have their own important role to play in carrying on the legacy of spectacular ninja skills, self discipline, courage and honour. Join the team by using LEGO bricks, technic pieces, gears and motors to build the ninja domain of temples, dragons, awesome motorised ninja models, ninja spinning machines and more ! children will use their imagination and creativity to dive into the extreme world of ninjas !

Recommended Ages 5+

 

LEGO Minecraft – $45 

 

Experience the real world of Minecraft with LEGO® Bricks in this fun school holiday workshop Kids will start by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using LEGO® Bricks. Participants will face new challenges building models and crafting key elements from the popular Minecraft game.

Movie Mash Up – $45 

 

Join us on a movie mash-up adventure! This workshop is filled with a variety of awesome model builds from your favourite movies.

LEGO® enthusiasts will build too infinity and beyond with Buzz, Woody and Jessie.  Join the Minions in their search for a new villain to serve. Then prepare to enter the incredible world of The Incredibles! Children will love building their favourite superhero family and help them to hide their powers. Help Bumble Bee save the world and transform your models into another form.

You won’t want to miss this magical experience, packed with building and imagination! Children can build characters from the original movies and the sequels! Children will explore concepts of engineering through building specially-designed BRICKS 4 KIDZ motorised models, mosaics, and 3D colourful character builds.   Recommended Ages 5+

 

Coding with WEDO – $50 

How would you like to turn your next LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do? The BRICKS 4 KIDZ® new Junior Robotics workshop offers all the fun of building with LEGO® bricks, PLUS the challenge of computer programming! Using drag-and-drop icon-based software, WeDo® software provides an introduction into the world of computer programming and robotics that will equip children to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. This fun, action-packed workshop combines real-life skills with real-kid fun!

Recommended Ages 7+

 

 

Stop Motion Animation – $50 

In this unique and creative workshop, students will plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own Mini-Movie using Stop Motion Animation. Working as a team, students will use LEGO® components to build the set and props and then shoot their movie using a camera. Bring your dreams and see your ideas come alive.

Introductory – EV3  Robotics 101 – $75 

 

Experience the cutting edge of technology with this introduction of LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 Robotics.

Students will be captivated as they incorporate the newest generation of motors, sensors and software by programming their commands directly into the intelligent brick.

Test their capabilities by moving an object with a robotic claw, build a tricycle that changes direction and a robot that detects colours. Our endless list of builds is sure to provide the complete fundamental components of robotics at best! This workshop is designed for people who have not completed an EV3 workshop with Bricks 4 Kidz.

Recommended Ages 9+

 

Intermediate – EV3 Robotics  201 – $75 

 

Take it to the next level and expand your skills and knowledge in our Intermediate MINDSTORMS® EV3 Robotics workshop!

Children will be able to unleash their creative powers by extending upon their knowledge from our Introductory MINDSTORMS® EV3 workshop.

Students will use an array of sensors, motors, and intelligent units to design robots that accomplish various tasks. This workshop is fun and a challenging next step into the world of robotics for the advanced LEGO® enthusiast.

Participants are encourage to work as a team and think critically to apply these learned concepts to problem solve open ended challenges.

Please note it is a pre-requisite that children have previously participated in our Introductory MINDSTORMS® EV3 Robotics 101 workshop.

Common Questions about our Programs

How old does my child need to be ?

As noted above, children are welcome at our workshops from as young as five, however all kids attending must be in kindergarten or primary school at least in order to attend.

What is your cancellation policy ?

Cancellations made at least THREE weeks from the start date of the school holiday workshop will receive an 80% refund. Cancellations made TWO to THREE weeks from the start date of the workshop will receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for workshops cancelled LESS than TWO weeks prior to the scheduled date of the workshop.

How many children are attending ?

For Robotics and Stop Motion workshops the numbers are capped at 10 children. For all other workshops the maximum will be in the range of 18-20

What is your policy on missed workshops?
  • If your child is visibly sick or carrying a high temperature on the day of the class, please keep your child at home! We will make up the class at the next opportunity.
  • Make up classes & transfers for other reasons will be accommodated as long as there is room in the class.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low registration.
  • Space is limited, so please enrol your child today.
What should my child bring?

Please note that food is not provided. Please provide a nut-free snack for your child to enjoy during every day of the workshop. If staying for the full day children will need to bring their own nut-free lunch. Please make sure your child wears covered shoes, sunscreen and brings a hat! We will supervise them outside at breaks.

How do I make payment?

Payment is made via on-line banking transfer. Upon enrolment you will receive an invoice sent to your registered email address for payment by the due date ( please reference the Invoice number under the description). Banking account details will be on the invoice. Your child’s place is confirmed when payment is made. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD).
