Workplace Activities Holiday Program at Data Dimensions
During the July school holidays, children of Dimension Data staff ages 5-8 will have the exciting opportunity to participate in a fascinating Building and Junior Robotics program. This program will be run at Dimension Data and will be conducted by BRICKS 4 KIDZ!
The school holiday program is designed to engage children with fundamentals of Building, Coding and Junior Robotics.
How would you like to turn your next LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do? The Junior Builder Coding with Robotics program offers all the fun of building with LEGO® PLUS the challenge of software coding!
We’ll start by introducing our unique kits with motors and batteries to get the children building motorised models using our 2D and 3D designs. We’ll build on the skills acquired by introducing WeDo® Junior Robotics in the afternoon. Using drag-and-drop icon-based LEGO® WeDo® software, this fun, action-packed program provides an inspiring and accessible introduction into the world of computer programming and robotics. It combines real-life skills with real-kid fun!
Supervision is available from 9am – 5pm.
Please note this workshop is ONLY for the children of Dimension Data Melbourne Office staff members. Please use your Dimension Data email address when enrolling your child.
All kids get to take home a BRICKS 4 KIDZ Cap at the end of the workshop!
