Mining & Crafting ( Inspired by Minecraft) – $45
Experience the world of MineCraft®with LEGO® in this creative school holiday program! Kids will begin by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using traditional bricks and mosaic builds.
Kids will face new challenges each day building motorised BRICKS 4 KIDZ®models and crafting key elements from MineCraft®
All kids get to take home a customised mini figure and wristband at the end of the workshop!
Extreme Ninjas ( Inspired by the new LEGO Ninjago Movie) – $45
Ninjas… Go ! there is a new Ninja on the block and he is ready to fight to defend his honour and establish peace. The team of 5 Ninjas all have their own important role to play in carrying on the legacy of spectacular ninja skills, self discipline, courage and honour. Join the team by using LEGO bricks, technic pieces, gears and motors to build the ninja domain of temples, dragons, awesome motorised ninja models, ninja spinning machines and more ! children will use their imagination and creativity to dive into the extreme world of ninjas !
A Galaxy Far Away ( Inspired by Star Wars) – $45
The force Awakens! In a galaxy far away. We begin the excitement by Joining Darth Vadar, Jabba, Princess Amidala, R2D2 and Yoda in a day of Space Adventures as we explore the inter-Galactic world inspired by Star Wars. Grab your models and act out popular scenes from your favourite Star War movie unleash your creativity in your very own LEGO Star Wars world! Boys and Girls will love this one with creative challenges for all ages.
Amusement Park Mayhem – $49
Delve into the history and mechanics of favourite amusement park rides in this imaginative unit. Students will construct a Carousel Swing, Tilt a Whirl, Loop de Loop ride, Swing boat ride, and Merry Go Round. Lessons incorporate principles of physics, described in a way children can understand, such as “G-force” inertia and momentum. These engaging lessons will give students an understanding of the physical forces they experience every day.
Common Questions about our Programs
How Old Does my child need to be ?
As noted above, children are welcome at our workshops from as young as five, however all kids attending must be in kindergarten or primary school at least in order to attend.
What is your cancellation policy ?
Cancellations made at least THREE weeks from the start date of the school holiday workshop will receive an 80% refund. Cancellations made TWO to THREE weeks from the start date of the workshop will receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for workshops cancelled LESS than TWO weeks prior to the scheduled date of the workshop.
How Many Children are Attending ?
For Robotics and Stop Motion workshops the numbers are capped at 10 children. For all other workshops the maximum will be in the range of 18-20
What is your policy on Missed Workshops?
- If your child is visibly sick or carrying a high temperature on the day of the class, please keep your child at home! We will make up the class at the next opportunity.
- Make up classes & transfers for other reasons will be accommodated as long as there is room in the class.
- We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low registration.
- Space is limited, so please enrol your child today.
What should my child bring?
Please note that food is not provided. Please provide a nut-free snack for your child to enjoy during every day of the workshop. If staying for the full day children will need to bring their own nut-free lunch. Please make sure your child wears covered shoes, sunscreen and brings a hat! We will supervise them outside at breaks.
How do I make payment?
Payment is made via on-line banking transfer. Upon enrolment you will receive an invoice sent to your registered email address for payment by the due date ( please reference the Invoice number under the description). Banking account details will be on the invoice. Your child’s place is confirmed when payment is made. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD).
