Join us on a movie mash-up adventure! This workshop is filled with a variety of awesome model builds from your favourite movies.

LEGO® enthusiasts will build too infinity and beyond with Buzz, Woody and Jessie. Their pig, dinosaur, and potato head friends are sure to be part of the fun as well. Then prepare to enter the incredible world of The Incredibles!

Children will love building their favourite superhero family and help them to hide their powers. Make sure you watch out for dragons in the sky as well. Luckily Toothless and his fellow good dragons aren’t looking to hurt anyone, they just need some training!

You won’t want to miss this magical experience, packed with building and imagination! Children will explore concepts of engineering through building specially-designed BRICKS 4 KIDZ motorised models, mosaics, and 3D colourful character builds.  Ages 5+

Extreme Ninja’s (Inspired by Ninjago) * 25th September * 9.00 am – 3.30 pm

The workshop that was inspired by the LEGO Ninjago movie!  Ninjas … GO!

There are new ninjas on the block, and they are ready to fight to defend their honour and establish peace! All ninjas attending this school holiday workshop will have their own important role to play in carrying on the legacy of spectacular ninja skill, self-discipline, and courage.

Join the team by using LEGO® bricks, technic pieces, gears and motors to build the ninja domain of temples, dragons, awesome ninja spinning machines and more!

Children will use their imagination and creativity to dive into the world of Extreme Ninjas! Ages 5+

Amusement Park Mayhem * 26th September  * 9.00 am – 3.30 pm

Kids will build a new ride each day, learning how to make things spin, roll, turn and rock. Then they will take what they have learned to design their own thrills and challenges.

Motorised models maximise the action and the fun. Each camp day includes carnival-themed games, group challenges, model-building and more.  Ages 5+

Mining & Crafting  (Inspired by Minecraft) * Tuesday 1st October  * 9.00 am – 3.30 pm

Experience the world of MineCraft® with LEGO® in this creative school holiday program! Kids will begin by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using traditional bricks and mosaic builds.

Kids will face new challenges building motorised BRICKS 4 KIDZ models and crafting key elements from MineCraft®! Ages 5+

Stop Animation Movie Making * 2nd October * 9.00 am – 3.30 pm

Light, cameras, LEGO® action! Use LEGO® bricks to tell YOUR story, complete with music, special effects and all your favorite LEGO® mini- figure characters! In this unique and creative camp, students will plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own mini-movie using Stop Motion Animation.

Working as a team, students will use LEGO® components to build the set and props, then shoot their movie using a camera. Teams will use movie-making software to add special effects, titles, credits and more. When the movie is complete, campers will impress friends and family with a screening party on the last day of camp. Don’t miss your chance to be a movie producer!  Ages 7+

Questions We Get Asked

Are there age limits?
As noted above, children are welcome at our workshops from as young as 5, however all kids attending must be in kindergarten in primary school at least in order to attend.

 

What do the children eat?
Please note that food is not provided.  Please provide a nut-free food for your child to enjoy during every day of the workshop.  If staying for the full day children will need to bring their own nut-free lunch. Please make sure your child wears covered shoes, sunscreen and brings a hat!  We will supervise them outside at breaks. While activities in BRICKS 4 KIDZ® workshops with LEGO® Bricks are very safe, we place a very high focus on child welfare – at least one staff member at every one of our activities will have a valid First Aid certificate.

How do I pay?
Payment can be made via Direct Debit of Credit Card. Your child’s place is confirmed when payment is made. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD).

What is your cancellation Policy?
Cancellations made at least THREE weeks from the start date of the school holiday workshop will receive an 100% refund. Cancellations made TWO to THREE weeks from the start date of the workshop will receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for workshops cancelled LESS than TWO weeks prior to the scheduled date of the workshop but we are happy to discuss a credit. Please contact us.

Alternative workshops may be offered where there are extenuating circumstances for the cancellation.

Bricks 4 Kidz reserves the right to cancel courses with insufficient student numbers and a full refund given.

 

What happens if my child is sick on the day?
If your child is visibly sick or carrying a high temperature on the day of the workshop, please keep your child at home!  We will make up the workshop at the next opportunity. Make up workshops & transfers for other reasons will be accommodated as long as there are available spots. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low registration.
