Mining & Crafting (inspired by MineCraft™!) @ Glenunga Hub

Experience the world of MineCraft^®with LEGO^® in this creative school holiday program! Kids will begin by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using traditional bricks and mosaic builds.

Kids will face new challenges each day building motorised BRICKS 4 KIDZ models and crafting key elements from MineCraft^®!

All kids get to take home their very own BRICKS 4 KIDZ gift at the end of the workshop!

Brick City Engineers @ Sea Scout Hall, Prospect

Let’s build a CITY! There are many different types of engineering jobs, and building is one of the most fun! What would a city be without the architects and engineers who come up with the ideas, plans and building skills to make it all come together?

Children will put their engineering and architecture skills to work as they build city themed models using LEGO^® Bricks. The sky’s the limit when campers are challenged to use their own ideas and skills to build a skyscraper taller than their heads! They’ll have a blast using custom-built cars to move the people of the city all around town – brick by brick!

What an accomplishment to be able to proudly exclaim “We built this BRICK City!”

Junior Robotics 101 @ Glenunga Hub

How would you like to turn your next LEGO^® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do?  The Junior Robotics 101workshop offers all the fun of building with LEGO^® Bricks PLUS the challenge of software coding!

Using drag-and-drop icon-based LEGO^® WeDo^® software, the workshop provides an introduction into the world of computer programming and robotics that will equip children to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. This fun, action-packed one day workshop combines real-life skills with real-kid fun!
