Making it move is the name of the game at this exciting Remote Control Mania workshop!
Kids will love to see their creations in motion using LEGO® wireless remote controls. Each day, they will use fascinating and challenging LEGO® components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and more!
As they enjoy the fun of building, kids will understand the basic working principles of many ingenious devices that are part of our everyday lives. This workshop is loads of fun and learning for budding builders!
All kids get to take home their very own BRICKTASTIC gift at the end of the workshop!

Robotic City Engineers

Let’s build a CITY! There are many different types of engineering jobs, and building is one of the most fun! What would a city be without the architects and engineers who come up with the ideas, plans and building skills to make it all come together?
Children will put their engineering and architecture skills to work as they build city themed models using LEGO® Bricks. The sky’s the limit when campers are challenged to use their own ideas and skills to build a skyscraper taller than their heads! They’ll have a blast using custom-built cars to move the people of the city all around town – brick by brick!
What an accomplishment to be able to proudly exclaim “We built this BRICK City!”

ONE DAY WORKSHOPS
Race with Mario
Monday 22 April ✷ 9am – 4pm

Jump into the world of arcade and video games in this SUPER FUN workshop (completely screen-free!). Eat flashing dots, collect coins and rings, avoid getting destroyed by enemies….
There are so many obstacles to overcome and levels to beat! Kids will build the famous plumber brothers, a Brick Eater, a jumping hedgehog, alien invaders, angry birds, and so much more! Can you guess which game each model represents? Super fun for boys and girls.

Pocket Brick Monsters (inspired by Pokémon®!)

Get ready for an adventure in the world of Pokémon®! Capture wild Pokémon® creatures and train them for battle!
Improve your accuracy and power as you learn new moves and use special abilities. Tap into your inner engineer as we build Dratini, Pikachu, Poké Balls, and more!

Amazing Animals
Monday 29 April ✷ 9am – 4pm

Ever wonder what your pets do while you are at school? Join Max, an adorable dog and Snowball the rabbit on this fun and furry adventure. In addition to imagining what pets do when left alone, build various critters, including motorized buzzing bees, fluttering butterflies and more. Then, dive to the depths of the ocean with Dory to help her search for her family!
All kids get to take home their very own BRICKTASTIC gift at the end of the workshop!!

Common Questions about our Programs
How old does my child need to be?
As noted above, children are welcome at our workshops from as young as 5, however all kids attending must be in kindergarten in primary school at least in order to attend.
What is your Cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least FOUR weeks from the start date of the school holiday workshop will receive an 80% refund. Cancellations made TWO to FOUR weeks from the start date of the workshop will receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for workshops cancelled LESS than TWO weeks prior to the scheduled date of the workshop.
How many children are attending?
At our Creativity Centre in Hornsby, our popular workshops are capped at 24 children!
What is your policy on Missed Workshops?

If your child is visibly sick or carrying a high temperature on the day of the class, please keep your child at home! We will make up the class at the next opportunity.
- Make up classes & transfers for other reasons will be accommodated as long as there is room in the class.
- We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low registration.
- Space is limited, so please enrol your child today.
What should my child bring?
Please note that food is not provided. Please provide a nut-free snack for your child to enjoy during every day of the workshop. If staying for the full day children will need to bring their own nut-free lunch. While activities in BRICKS 4 KIDZ® workshops with LEGO® Bricks are very safe, we place a very high focus on child welfare – at least one staff member at every one of our activities will have a valid First Aid certificate!
How do I make payment?
Payment is made using a credit card online through our secure payment gateway. Your child’s place is confirmed when payment is made. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD).

Where should I park?
There is a Council Car Park on the corner of George Street and Burdett Street (2 minutes from our Centre). Street parking is also available on some side roads and parts of George Street. Westfield shopping centre is a five minute walk away.
