Mining & Crafting (inspired by MineCraft™!)

Experience the world of MineCraft® with LEGO® in this creative school holiday program! Kids will begin by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using traditional bricks and mosaic builds.

Kids will face new challenges each day building motorised BRICKS 4 KIDZ models and crafting key elements from MineCraft®!

All kids get to take home their very own BRICKTASTIC gift at the end of the workshop!

Ages 5+

Superheroes & Ninjas

Thursday 18 April – Friday 19 April  ✷  9am – 4pm

SHAKE A LEG! Just FIVE spots remain

Kids will use their imaginations, building skills and superhero passion in this thrilling workshop of our FAVOURITE superheroes and villains, inspired by the Marvel® and DC® universes!

On Day One children will enter the city where a jokester and other villains wreak havoc – thankfully there is a bat hero who comes out to fight against these evil-doers!

The good guys ride into action as kids build motorised models of the bat hero’s speedy vehicle and bat girl’s sleek Cycle. Send the superhero swinging on his grappling hook technic model from one skyscraper to the next as he tackles the bad guys with his trusty super sidekick!

On Day Two our budding builders will create more of their favourite Superheroes! Explore all the marvellous heroes and discover their super powers. Create a fantasy world and protect it against all of the arch enemies with custom contraptions made with LEGO®!

All kids get to take home their very own BRICKTASTIC gift at the end of the workshop!

Robotic City Engineers

Tuesday 23 April – Wednesday 24 April  ✸  9am – 4pm

Let’s build a CITY! There are many different types of engineering jobs, and building is one of the most fun! What would a city be without the architects and engineers who come up with the ideas, plans and building skills to make it all come together?

Children will put their engineering and architecture skills to work as they build city themed models using LEGO® Bricks. The sky’s the limit when campers are challenged to use their own ideas and skills to build a skyscraper taller than their heads! They’ll have a blast using custom-built cars to move the people of the city all around town – brick by brick!

What an accomplishment to be able to proudly exclaim “We built this BRICK City!”

ONE DAY WORKSHOPS 

Race with Mario

Wednesday 17 April  ✷  9am – 4pm

Jump into the world of  arcade and video games in this SUPER FUN workshop (completely screen-free!). Eat flashing dots, collect coins and rings, avoid getting destroyed by enemies….

There are so many obstacles to overcome and levels to beat! Kids will build the famous plumber brothers, a Brick Eater, a jumping hedgehog, alien invaders, angry birds, and so much more! Can you guess which game each model represents? Super fun for boys and girls.

Pocket Brick Monsters (inspired by Pokémon®!)

Get ready for an adventure in the world of Pokémon®! Capture wild Pokémon® creatures and train them for battle!

Improve your accuracy and power as you learn new moves and use special abilities. Tap into your inner engineer as we build Dratini, Pikachu, Poké Balls, and more!

Show off your skills as you battle for power in your journey through the Pokémon® universe. Do you have what it takes to become a Pokémon® Master?

Junior Robotics 101

Friday 26 April  ✷  9am – 4pm

How would you like to turn your next LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do?  The Junior Robotics 101 workshop offers all the fun of building with LEGO® Bricks PLUS the challenge of software coding!

Using drag-and-drop icon-based LEGO® WeDo® software, the workshop provides an introduction into the world of computer programming and robotics that will equip children to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. This fun, action-packed one day workshop combines real-life skills with real-kid fun!

All kids get to take home their very own BRICKTASTIC gift at the end of the workshop!

Common Questions about our Programs

How old does my child need to be?

As noted above, children are welcome at our workshops from as young as 5, however all kids attending must be in kindergarten in primary school at least in order to attend.

What is your Cancellation policy?

Cancellations made at least THREE weeks from the start date of the school holiday workshop will receive an 80% refund. Cancellations made TWO to THREE weeks from the start date of the workshop will receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for workshops cancelled LESS than TWO weeks prior to the scheduled date of the workshop.

How many children are attending?

At Pymble Uniting Church, our popular workshops are capped at 24 children!

What is your policy on Missed Workshops?
  • If your child is visibly sick or carrying a high temperature on the day of the class, please keep your child at home! We will make up the class at the next opportunity.

  • Make up classes & transfers for other reasons will be accommodated as long as there is room in the class.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low registration.
  • Space is limited, so please enrol your child today.
What should my child bring?

Please note that food is not provided. Please provide a nut-free snack for your child to enjoy during every day of the workshop. If staying for the full day children will need to bring their own nut-free lunch. Please make sure your child wears covered shoes, sunscreen and brings a hat! We will supervise them in the park outside at breaks.

While activities in BRICKS 4 KIDZ® workshops with LEGO® Bricks are very safe, we place a very high focus on child welfare – at least one staff member at every one of our activities will have a valid First Aid certificate!

How do I make payment?

Payment is made using a credit card online through our secure payment gateway. Your child’s place is confirmed when payment is made. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD).
