Term ONE of 2025 – TRANSPORTATION TIMELINE
Watch, learn and build all the different ways that people use to travel around. Some vehicles move slowly, some faster, some can fly and some can carry lots and lots of passengers! How many have you travelled on? Come and find out about all these wonderful creations and build them using LEGO®!
Our Junior Robotics After School Program introduces young learners to the exciting world of robotics using LEGO® and Scratch coding. Through hands-on activities, students build their own robots with LEGO® pieces and learn to program them using Scratch’s user-friendly block coding platform. This fun and interactive program helps children develop essential skills like problem-solving, logical thinking, and creativity while boosting their understanding of STEM concepts. As they work through challenges and see their robots come to life, students also build teamwork and communication skills. The Junior Robotics program offers a fantastic foundation for future learning in technology and engineering, all while keeping kids engaged and excited about coding and robotics!
Our Advanced Robotics After School Program offers an exciting opportunity for kids to dive into the world of robotics using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 sets and Scratch programming. Designed for young innovators, this program teaches students how to build and program their own robots, combining hands-on construction with coding skills. Using the EV3 sets, children learn to create robots with sensors, motors, and intelligent programming, while Scratch coding introduces them to block-based programming concepts in a fun and interactive way.
Through this immersive experience, students develop critical STEM skills such as problem-solving, logical thinking, and creativity. The program also fosters teamwork and collaboration as kids work together to tackle challenges, troubleshoot, and fine-tune their robots. By the end of the course, students will not only have built advanced robots but will also have a deeper understanding of engineering, technology, and coding, empowering them for future success in the tech world.
