Common Questions about our Parties & Events!
What is the process of booking?
Super easy. Just fill in the Virtual Kids Party Enquiry form with your requirements and one of our awesome staff members will follow up with you! We’ll discuss your party needs, confirm the time and date with you, and then issue you an invoice for a deposit. Once we’ve received your deposit, your preferred time and date is secured – that’s it! Final numbers and payment will be due one week prior to the party.
Is a deposit required?
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
What time slots are available for Virtual Parties and Events?
We can be flexible! Please advise what time you’d like to start the Virtual Party so we can confirm the availability of our awesome Party Hosts!
Do the party guests need a tablet or computer?
Yes, either a computer or a tablet will work. All the guests will need mum or dad to download the free Zoom app before the party begins and have it ready to go. We’ll send you information that you can share with the parents on how to do that.
What is the minimum age requirement?
We host awesome parties for kids from five years old and above! Our Virtual Party activities are not suitable for children under five years of age because we have found that they struggle to concentrate with online activities lasting as long as these.
Is there a maximum number of kids?
Please keep it to no more than 15, including the birthday child! The Virtual Parties in the Zoom Room can get a bit raucous with more than 15 😀.
Are parents welcome to join in and build?
Yes! The party games and activities are aimed at the age of the birthday child but we love to see mums and dads building with their kids – as long as the kids are happy to share the LEGO® 😀.
Where can I get invitations for my party?
Some parents love online services like Paperless Post but we also have digital invitations that you are free to use! You can find our digital invitations HERE.
Why does the price vary from day to day?
Because we pay our staff every cent that they are entitled to! Our staff wage rates vary and on the weekends they receive a loading. The price on the weekend is increased just to cover the additional weekend loading amounts.
How much LEGO should each child have?
As much as possible! We always suggest that it would be great if kids could have at least 2–4 kg of LEGO® that they can use for their creations, so they have plenty of choice of different bricks.
How strong should the internet connection be for each child?
We hope each child has a medium to strong internet connection at home! This means we can have high quality video and sound, making it more fun for everyone. We know this isn’t possible in all homes and it isn’t a dealbreaker for us. If a child can at least get online, we just ask that everyone is patient with those kids who may struggle to see and hear.
What is your policy on postponing or cancelling a party?
We remain committed to running the best Kids’ Birthday Parties on the North Shore! If a parent needs to postpone a party, we just ask for 72 hours notice. Parties that need to be postponed inside 72 hours (or cancelled altogether) will forfeit the $100 deposit and any money committed towards catering
Do the prices include GST?
Yes, all prices are inclusive of GST.
