Our holiday activities are designed for kids ages 5 -12, are staffed by trained, screened BRICKS 4 KIDZ® instructors, and have the best child to staff ratio around!

Rover & Tri-Bot MINDSTORMS® EV3 Advanced Robotics
Experience the cutting edge of technology with the introduction of LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 Advanced Robotics. Students will be captivated as they incorporate the newest generation of motors, sensors and software by programming their commands directly into the intelligent brick.
Rover Bot
The Rover Bot plays sound files such as “forward” and “backward” as it moves forward and backward using the sound block. The Move steering block programs the model to move in a forward direction and then go backward. The Bumper Bot is an add-on to the base Rover Bot. It is equipped with two touch sensors in the front which detect bumps and avoid obstacles. If the left bumper is pressed, the model goes backward and turns right. If the right bumper is pressed, the model goes backward and turns left.
Tri-Bot
The Tri-Bot uses reflected light via the colour sensor to detect when it is approaching an edge, and moves away from the edge. When the Colour Sensor on the robot senses a change in reflected light, (such as a dark line in its path), it reverses direction, turns 90 degrees and sets out again on its new course.

Scratch 3.0 Video Game Design – Shark Attack & Space Invader
Bring LEGO® bricks to life with Scratch 3.0 coding! The ability to code is a key component of technology education today. Our coding programs will teach children important strategies to enhance their logic and problem-solving skills, as well as help them work toward becoming technological innovators of tomorrow.
Each child will be assigned a Laptop computer and WeDo 2.0 Kit Set. Children will design and build their own Video Games – Shark Attack and Space Invader. All games are controlled using WeDo 2.0 Joysticks. These Joysticks will be build by children using WeDo 2.0 Junior Robotics.
Ages 7+
Full Day (9:00 am to 3:30 pm) – $108

Transformation Creations
Get ready to build and discover how your model transforms! Kids will love the mash-up of combination models that can be rebuilt into something different. These awesome 2-in-1 models will include exciting characters, robots, vehicles and more!
Follow the step-by-step building plans and ignite your inner engineer by using your imagination to transform your model into something unique. Join us for this fun-filled workshop where you’ll use your creativity and engineering skills to build and transform!

At our LEGO® workshops, children will work and play with LEGO® Technic pieces such as gears, axles, electric motors and more! They will build specially-created unique BRICKS 4 KIDZ® models designed by engineers and architects. These are proprietary models thus you will not find them in the market. They will also be engage with various LEGO® games and have plenty of time for creative play with our extensive collections of LEGO® bricks.
Our school holiday programs are designed for kids ages 5 – 12 and are staffed by trained, screened BRICKS 4 KIDZ® instructors. We provide an excellent staffing ratio of 1:8 and at least one of our staff on-site will hold a valid First Aid Certificate. Therefore, you can rest assured that your child will be safe and having lots of fun with us.

Important Notes
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
There is no entry fee at Lollipop’s Playland @ Bayswater for drop-off and pick-up.
Indoor Play Centre
Access to the Indoor Play Centre during break time is included in the enrolment. We will supervise your children during break time at the Indoor Play Centre. Please make sure your child wears socks as this is a condition of entry. While activities in BRICKS 4 KIDZ® workshops with LEGO® Bricks are very safe, we place a very high focus on child welfare – at least one staff member for every workshop will have a valid First Aid certificate.
Age
All children are welcome at our workshops from as young as 5 and up to 12, however all kids attending must be at least in Kindy in a primary school in order to attend.
Workshop Capacity
All our workshops are limited to 24 children and there will be at least 2 instructors per workshop. We will keep our ratio at 1:8 thus you can rest assured that your kids will be well taken care of.
Food and Refreshment
Please note that food is not provided. Please provide a nut-free snack and lunch for your child to enjoy during the workshop. Please make sure your child wears covered shoes, sunscreen and brings a hat! We will supervise them outside at breaks when weather permits. While activities in BRICKS 4 KIDZ® workshops with LEGO® Bricks are very safe, we place a very high focus on child welfare – at least one staff member for every workshop will have a valid First Aid certificate.
Payment
- All fees quoted are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer or using credit cards online through our secure payment gateway.
- Full payment should be made at the time of enrolment to confirm your child’s placement.
Cancellations
- Cancellations made at least THREE weeks from the start date of the workshop will receive an 80% refund.
- Cancellations made TWO to THREE weeks from the start date of the workshop will receive a 50% refund.
- There will be NO REFUND for any cancellations made LESS than TWO week prior to the scheduled date of the workshop.
- Alternative workshops may be offered at the discretion of Bricks 4 Kidz Gosnells and Cannington where there are extenuating circumstances for the cancellation.
- Bricks 4 Kidz Gosnells and Cannington reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to low registration. Where this occurs, students may opt for another workshop if places are available OR receive a full refund.
