Home-School Technic/Creator Builds for ages 5+
Advanced Robotics for ages 10+
All classes are mixed offering both Technic/Creator & Advanced Robotics
All programs are tailored to the unique competencies and experience of each student. Each class will have a mixture of students from different year levels / ages with some using Technic and others using Mindstorms.
Classes run in half-term blocks. Some blocks will be more or less depending on the number of classes for that block which are dependant upon Public Holidays and other availability parameters. Click on the link below to find out the exact dates of the upcoming classes.
Once programs have commenced we prorate the remaining classes if space is available.
Technic/Creator BRICKS 4 KIDZ® Home-school Classes on the Sunshine Coast build on the universal popularity of LEGO® bricks to deliver a high quality of educational play! With each block exploring a themed concept, our two-hour classes teach architecture, engineering and technology skills.
Advanced Robotics classes utilise LEGO® Mindstorms technology to give the student an engineering and coding experience above all others. Skills learnt prepare students for real world tech and competitive robotics.
Technic Creator
Mission to Space
Space has been a source of inspiration for scientists, star-gazers and adventurers for generations. Get inspired to go on your own adventure and join us on a Mission to Space! Discover some incredible structures at Kennedy Space Centre’s Launch Complex 39, travel the surface of the moon, and explore Space. Our tour would not be complete without a visit to the International Space Station. We’ll provide the bricks; all you need to bring for this adventure is your imagination!

Advanced Robotics
Delivered within the above Home-School Technic/Creator Classes
Experience the cutting edge of technology with this introduction of LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 Robotics. Students will be captivated as they incorporate the newest generation of motors, sensors and software by programming their commands directly into the intelligent brick.
With our 101 program students test their capabilities by moving an object with a robotic claw and create a rabbit that interacts with its environment. Our endless list of builds is sure to provide the complete fundamental components of robotics at best!
STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED PREVIOUS HOMESCHOOL PROGRAMS WILL MOVE ON TO OUR 201 or 301 CREATIONS.
Ages 10+
Price is inclusive of GST and payment can be made online via our credit card facility.

Notes
Age
As noted above, children are welcome at our workshops from as young as five, however all kids attending must be in Prep at least in order to attend. Students aged from 5 years to 7 years will be working with Technic on our project builds while 8+years students will be working with Mindstorms Kits.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will be applied for cancelled workshops due to the COVID environment. If students do not commence scheduled programs, credit will be applied.
Missed Classes
If your child is visibly sick or carrying a high temperature on the day of the class, please keep your child at home! We will make up the class at the next opportunity. Make up classes & transfers for other reasons will be accommodated as long as there is room in the class. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low registration. Space is limited, so please enrol your child today.
Food & Refreshment
Please note that food is not provided. Please provide a nut-free snack for your child to enjoy during the day. If staying for the full day, children will need to bring their own nut-free lunch.
Payment
Payment is made at the time of booking as we accept both Visa or MasterCard via our online booking system.
All transactions are processed in Australia dollars (AUD).
