New Brick City Engineers (One Day)

Let’s build a CITY! What would a city be without the architects and engineers who come up with the ideas, plans and building skills to make it all come together? Kids will put their engineering and architecture skills to work as they build city themed models using LEGO® Bricks. The sky’s the limit when students are challenged to use their own ideas and skills to build a skyscraper taller than their heads! They’ll have a blast using custom-built cars to move the people of the city all around town – brick by brick! This is a full day filled with fun for both Girls and Boys alike, Ages 5 – 11

Introductory MINDSTORMS® EV3 Robotics 101 (Two Days)

Experience the cutting edge of technology with the introduction of LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 Robotics.
Students will be captivated as they incorporate the newest generation of motors, sensors and software by programming their commands directly into the intelligent brick. Test their capabilities by moving an object with a robotic claw, build a bumper ‘bot and a robot that detects colours! Our endless list of builds is sure to provide the complete fundamental components of robotics!
This workshop is limited to a maximum of 12 with at least two Instructors to provide hand on guidance throughout the day. Ages 9 – 12

Junior Robotics 101 (One Day)

How would you like to turn your next LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do? The BRICKS 4 KIDZ® Junior Robotics workshop offers all the fun of building with LEGO® bricks, PLUS the challenge of computer programming! Using drag-and-drop icon-based software. WeDo® software provides an introduction into the world of computer-programming and robotics that will equip children to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. This fun, action-packed one day workshop combines real-life skills with real-kid fun! Ages 7 – 11

Swing Into Spring, BRICKS 4 KIDZ® style at our Spring Brick Fever! Start by soaring to the clouds and crafting your way to the skies with a take home kite, then sail the seas on a LEGO® motorised-pirate ship or sailboat. Build spring critters from the cute and cuddly to the creepy and crawly!, this is jam packed with lots of LEGO®, creative projects and of course fun! Super Fun for all kids, Ages 5 – 11

Mining & Crafting 1 (One Day)
Friday, 6 October ♦ 9am – 3:30pm ♦ Forest Community Arts Centre ♦ $85 inc GST ♦6 Darley Street, Forestville
Experience the world of MineCraft® with LEGO® bricks in this creative school holiday program! Kids will begin by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using traditional bricks and mosaic builds. And they will face challenges building motorised BRICKS 4 KIDZ® models and crafting key elements from the MineCraft® game. A full day of MineCraft®-inspired fun without screens! Ages 5 - 11

Children are welcome at our workshops from as young as five, however all kids attending must be in kindergarten at least in order to attend our School Holiday Workshops.
Our Forestville workshops have a maximum of 16 children with an 8:1 child to instructor ratio. At Forestville, our Robotics workshops have a maximum of 12 students with at least two Instructors to provide hands on assistance to each child as needed.
Food and refreshment
Please note that food is NOT provided. Please provide a nut-free lunch and two snacks for your child to enjoy during every day of the workshop.
Please make sure your child wears covered shoes, sunscreen and brings a hat! We will supervise them outside at breaks.
Student Information Form
To ensure we provide a safe and secure environment for your child, a BRICKS 4 KIDZ® Northern Beaches Student Information Form 2016 is required for each child attending our workshops. Please complete and return your form prior to the workshop.
Unless specified otherwise in a specific promotional offer, cancellations made at least TWO weeks from the start date of the school holiday workshop will receive a full refund. We do not offer any refunds for workshops cancelled LESS than TWO weeks prior to the scheduled date of the workshop. Please contact us for further information.
We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low registration.
- If your child is visibly sick or carrying a high temperature on the day of the class, please keep your child at home! We will make up the class at the next opportunity.
- Make up classes & transfers for other reasons will be accommodated as long as there is room in the class.
All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated. Your child’s place is confirmed when payment is made. Please contact us if you required a Tax Invoice.
