Massive Lego Christmas tree in Melbourne

The largest Lego Christmas tree in the Southern Hemisphere has been unveiled in Melbourne, complete with an Aussie touch. 

The 10-metre tall display, made of a few hundred thousand bricks and more than 3500 LEDs, took around 2000 hours to build, said LEGO master builder Chris Steininger.

Local additions to the tree include a koala, a surfing Santa and an elf playing cricket.
