About Us

BRICKS 4 KIDZ® all started from a love of LEGO®. In St. Augustine, Florida in the spring of 2008, Michelle Cote was inspired by her son’s obsession with playing with LEGO® bricks and realized she could lead a creative science class revolving around these toys.

While she had initially been focused on running an after-school Spanish class, Michelle soon found herself winning a bid to become a School Board Vendor for both Spanish and LEGO®. That summer she advertised a Spanish camp and a LEGO® camp: the former had three children sign up, but the latter had an incredible 35 children register to take part!

It was clear that her son wasn’t the only one excited by LEGO® and she could see the potential for this to go far.  Soon enough, her after school classes specialising in this field were taking off: she was at three different primary schools with an average of 20 students in each class every week.

It’s only gotten bigger since then. Michelle is now running over 20 after-school classes each week, plus school incursions, birthday parties on the weekends and school holiday programs. Her BRICKS 4 KIDZ® model has continued to expand and there are now over 750 locations in 45 countries, including here at Armadale, Atwell, Aubin Grove, Banjup, Bedfordale, Beeliar, Brookdale, Byford, Camillo, Cardup, Champion Lake, Cockburn Central, Darling Downs, Forrestdale, Hammond Park, Harrisdale, Haynes, Hilbert, Jandakot, Karrakup, Kelmscott, Mount Nasura, Mount Richon, Piara Waters, Roleystone, Seville Grove, South Lake, Success, Treeby, Yangebup, which are run by a dedicated trio: Siska, Noviati and Hebe.

Through a focus on discovery, play and learn, BRICKS 4 KIDZ® is a popular activity that promises a child safe, child friendly environment. Our Child Safe Child Friendly policy is available here for download.

Who is the team in BRICKS 4 KIDZ® Armadale?

Siska Mariana

As a mother herself, Siska sees how important BRICKS 4 KIDZ® is. Through the use of tactile learning and play, children are provided with life skills beyond what can be read in books. And she’s dedicated to giving this experience to all the kids she interacts with.

Siska has a Bachelor of Applied Science from Curtin University and a Diploma of Property from TAFE, coupled with a long-standing career in the real estate industry.

Her strong family values make her an ideal BRICKS 4 KIDZ® team member as she’s completely focused on how LEGO® really can change the life of those who use it as a development tool. In fact, her daughter is proof of the positive impact this program can have.

Noviati Kodratjaya

Noviati is passionate about working with children: challenging them and helping them achieve goals in life.

After graduating from Curtin University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Commerce, and many years dedicated to the culinary world and organising children’s birthday parties, her journey has now led her to joining the BRICKS 4 KIDZ® family.

As a mother of one child, she brings to the table a nurturing, caring disposition, and the desire to discover even more about children and what assists them in learning and developing.

Hebe Yau

With a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Curtin University, Hebe is passionate about learning and teaching. She has a beautiful daughter, and has devoted the past years to nurturing and raising her full time. Now she’s ready to take that experience and bring it to the BRICKS 4 KIDZ® team.

While she’s proud of her achievements to date, she believes her biggest accomplishment is yet to come. She’s continually on the hunt to learn, grow and continue improving: a valuable attitude kids will be sure to pick up on.

LEGO® was a big part of her childhood, and assisted Hebe in moving into the robotics team when she was in high school. That’s why working with BRICKS 4 KIDZ® means so much to her. She knows that nothing is impossible with LEGO® – it’s a pathway for kids to learn and be inspired.

Hebe has completed First Aid Training with St John.
