Fun with LEGO at The Place

We had a great day out on Saturday at our Bricks 4 Kidz Launch party at The Place Community Centre Charlestown. The day was put on as a launch day for Bricks 4 Kidz Lake Macquarie in support of the Young Parents Group – a social support group for young parents in their teens and early 20’s who meet regularly at the Place.

We raised $775.25 through a range of activities. We had 52 families visit the event, sold 46 spots in our LEGO classes, gave away a school holiday workshop spot and sold a Deluxe birthday party in a silent auction – all funds went to support the Young Parent Group. Thanks to our awesome team and all the families who attended. Looking forward to putting on some great holiday workshops now…
