Summer school holidays are well underway so have a look at this list of what’s on to help you plan your holiday activities.   If you need some excitement in your summer days for your kids or grandkids, here’s our compilation of the best events coming to The Beautiful Central Coast.

Whether you want a day out in nature in the summer sun or you think you’d like to get out of the heat, we’ve got some ideas for you; it’s muddy, inspirational, exciting, adorable, and mostly FUN! This guide is specially designed for children 5 to 12 years of age.

1. Launch into Motorised BRICK excitement, Erina 🚀

Summer BRICK Lovin’ is running from 22nd December to 19th January at Erina, The Central Coast. We’ve got an assortment of themes just waiting to rev up your child’s interests! Like Mining and Crafting, Superheroes to Remote Control Mayhem with fast vehicles, and more!

With unique models and edu-taining play, kids will dive into our Summer School Holiday Programs connecting with technics, beads, mosaics, and colour bricks creating something awesome with new friends. 2. Giddy Up at The Outlook Riding Academy, Terrigal 🐎

Outlook Riding Academy at Terrigal is perfect for equestrian enthusiasts. Enjoy horse riding with experimental learning and exciting activities. Saddle up for a horse-riding adventure of lunging, bareback, and show jumping. Holiday Camps — The Outlook Riding Academy

3. Go Awe on a Tour at Moo To Ewe Farm, Palmdale 🐄

Moo to Ewe is a 35-acre animal sanctuary on the Central Coast doing great things – rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing orphaned farm animals to give animals a new happy independent life.

Pre-arranged sanctuary tours are available if you book in advance. Feed and pat goats, chickens, ducks, alpacas (be careful of spit!), cows, hens, piglets, and roosters. Tours run for 1 1/2 hours from 11 am running on Saturdays and Sundays. Visit Us — Moo to Ewe

 4. Sleuth at Summerfest! 🕵️‍♀️

Jam-packed with excitement Summerfest offers water fun, games, challenges, sports, performance for kids of all ages.  Kindy kids will adventure under the sea with games, songs, crafts and puppets. Little Tackers (Years 1 -2) will solve riddles as they become detectives with the help of a puppet. Dynamites (Years 3 – 4) have arts, crafts, wild outdoor games, and water activities. 5. Get Muddy at RAW Challenge. 💩🏃‍♂️

Raw is hosting obstacle days for kids and teens at Doyalson.  Kids will conquer 25 obstacles climbing rope bridges, balancing beams, sliding slides, crawling through tunnels, and flopping in mud pools. This is a mudfest!

Parents can join in the fun too! It’s a good opportunity for you to get active playing with your kids.  Raw Challenge is running through January for 3.5 hours. Events – Raw Challenge

6. An Evening of Free Family Fun at Gosford Leagues Club Park 🎇 

Central Coast Council is inviting parents and children to enjoy Australia Day on them! ❤️ Live music performances for kids and parents. Enjoy a picnic dinner and entertainment including a mini fire truck, giant lawn and sports games (4.30pm to 6.30pm), food stalls, and a fireworks display at 9 pm to get you all mesmerized as you glance up to the southern sky!  Australia Day Gosford | What’s on | Love Central Coast

7. Be Gob Smacked at The Art House Wyong 🔮🥕

Do you like magic? Who doesn’t? Mr Magic is coming to the Art House during these school holidays. This interactive magic show will leave you gobsmacked trying to work out how the object disappeared right before your eyes. A perfect family activity. Or maybe music is more your thing! See Vegetable Plot (part of the ABC Kids music family) for a show at The Art House. Kids will be singing and dancing catchy tunes about fruit and vegetables! This ARIA award-winning trio is sure to be a hit with the kids. Serving up sweet harmonies, jokes, and rotten puns with colorful characters this funky crew with have the little ones rocking it out!
