ISABELLA  started with just four tiny LEGO characters based on the film The Wizard of Oz and turned them into an entire story.

The young LEGO lover from Springfield showed off her creativity at BrisBricks’ inaugural Toowoomba Fan Expo at the Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre this weekend.

Thousands of people witnessed amazing creation by LEGO architects from across southeast Queensland, with a massive display commemorating different parts of the state.

Re-creating famous scenes from the film, including the field of poppies and the entrance to the Emerald City, Isabella even dressed up for the occasion.

“I first got inspiration from the mini figures that came in the Lego Movie 2 series,” she said.

“I started by building the poppy field and then I moved on from there because I thought it would be fun to do a whole story.

“The road, in particular, was very hard along with the size of the table – it took me about a month.”
