As we head earlier into higher temperatures for summer, remember to have at least a rudimentary bushfire preparedness plan ready. During hot and windy days, we are at most risk of having sparks and embers turn into a raging inferno and that doesn’t give those in the vicinity much time at all to get out of the way.
Spend just a few minutes with your family to talk about what needs to happen during those critical few moments.
