A LEGO®-Friendly and Empowering Prosthetic Arm for Kids

We live and breathe LEGO®, and spend quite a bit of time admiring people’s creations with the world’s favourite toy! But every now and then, something comes along that takes our breath away.

Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar, of Umeå University in Sweden is a real-life Master Builder and our superhero. With an aim of improving the lives of children living with a missing limb, Carlos has designed an empowering prosthetic arm that’s compatible with LEGO® so kids can swap its gripping attachment for their own creations.
