We think these LEGO® instructions from 1974 are AWESOME (and yes, they're real!)
This photo of a note to parents, purportedly printed on a pamphlet included in a LEGO set from the 1970s, has been making laps around the web since it was posted on Reddit a day or so ago.
Many people have looked into the legitimacy of the note and concluded that it is indeed real – the logo matches the LEGO® logo of the time, it is consistent with the rest of their gender-neutral marketing they were using, and there is evidence of a pamphlet in German with the same message.
Pretty cool message. They had it nailed in the 70s!
