LAWS OF MOTION – Ages 5+ ($160)
Tuesday, 7 May – Tuesday, 2 July ✷ 3.15 pm – 4.15 pm (60 minutes)
In Term TWO 2024, we will be discovering the LAWS OF MOTION!
Kids will be introduced to what physics is, as well as the ‘Laws of Motion’ made famous by Sir Isaac Newton. Terms will be explored including inertia and mass, which will provide students with a foundation for understanding concepts that they will delve deeper into years to come.
Students will build motorised models using LEGO® bricks, such as the motorised see-saw, the moving clock and the catapult model will be built to keep their minds and hands busy! Each week we’ll discuss a new law of motion and apply demonstrate it with our SUPER FUN model. The classes will be held on Thursday afternoon from 3.30pm – 4.30pm.
This is a nine week program with classess commencing on Tuesday, 7 May (Week Two). Spots are limited, so BOOK EARLY to avoid disappointment!

LAWS OF MOTION WITH WEDO ROBOTICS – Ages 7+ ($185)
Tuesday, 7 May – Tuesday, 2 July ✷ 3.15 pm – 4.45 pm (90 minutes)
In Term 2, BRICKS 4 KIDZ® is thrilled to be offering Laws of Motion combined with WEDO® Software Programming. This program is an excellent introduction to basic concepts of robotics and computer programming.
Laws of Motion introduce kids to physics made famous by Sir Isaac Newton. By explaining terms like inertia and mass, BRICKS 4 KIDZ® lessons give students a foundation for understanding concepts that they will delve deeper into in years to come.
Test out some of Sir Isaac Newton’s Laws of Motion with robots that illustrate the concepts of inertia, force, mass, acceleration, and the observation that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Common Questions about our After School Programs with LEGO®!
How old does my child need to be?
As noted above, children are welcome at our After School Programs from as young as five, but must be enrolled in kindergarten!
What is your policy on postponing or cancelling an After School Program?
Cancellations made at least THREE weeks from the start date of the Program will receive an 80% refund. Cancellations made TWO to THREE weeks from the start date of the Program will receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for Program cancelled LESS than TWO weeks prior to the scheduled date of the Program.
In case of missed classes, if a child is unwell, we offer a FULL CREDIT.
We reserve the right to cancel programs. We offer full refunds if we cancel program or transfer to an alternative class.
What is the process of booking?
Payment is made using a credit card online through our secure payment gateway. Your child’s place is confirmed when payment is made. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD).

Is there a maximum number of kids?
Our After School Programs in Collaroy are capped at 24 children. We run our programs on an 8:1 Student to Instructor basis.
