Construction Craze WeDo 2.0 Junior Robotics
BRICKS 4 KIDZ is thrilled to be offering Construction Craze combined with WEDO® 2.0 Software Programming. This program is an excellent introduction to basic concepts of robotics and computer programming.
Put on your hard hat and head on over to our construction site! Make your own motorised models of tools of the trade from a hand-held power drill and power saw to a tough, all-terrain bulldozer and giant dump truck. Would you be surprised to learn that one of these objects has a history stretching from the Stone Age to the Space Age? And who thought of making a saw blade in the shape of a circle? Where does the word bulldozer come from? How big is the biggest dump truck? Build your knowledge of construction at Bricks 4 Kidz! Dump trucks, jackhammers, drills, power saws… build motorised models of these and other powerful tools and create your own LEGO® construction site. Join us for lots of high-impact learning and fun!
Middle Primary (6-9 years)

Fun with Science MINDSTORMS® EV3 Advanced Robotics
Have you ever dreamed of being a scientist when you grow up? Start your scientific practice now with the BRICKS 4 KIDZ “Fun with Science” EV3 Robotics unit! In this unit, young scientists will build a variety of robotics models using the LEGO® EV3 building elements and programming software. Build scientific measurement instruments including a Digital Calliper and a Rolling Ruler. Follow the Scientific Method to test out awesome models such as a launching Trebuchet or Wind Turbine. This unit proves that science really is fun!
Upper Primary (9-12 years)
Every TUESDAY starting 15 Oct 2024 to 3 Dec 2024 from 3:15 pm to 5:00 pm (Beehive Montessori Students Only).

Come and join in all the fun of our BRICKS 4 KIDZ After School Workshops with LEGO®! The one hour After School Workshops explore architecture, engineering and technology concepts as kids build motorised models using LEGO® Bricks.
Core STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) content are integrated into all our programs. During each session, we incorporate our philosophy – We Learn! We Build! We Play!
With the introduction of Junior Robotics using WEDO® 2.0 and Advanced Robotics using MINDSTORMS® EV3, students will learn basic concepts of robotics and computer programming as well.
Important Notes
Keeping Kids, Families and Staff Safe
The health and well-being of our BRICKS 4 KIDZ community is our priority. We want to assure you that we have maintained our thorough cleaning regimen to keep all kids and staff safe. Here’s how we tackle that problem:
- Providing hand sanitiser to kids and staff when they start all our programs (we have plenty of hand sanitiser
); - Regularly washing all our equipment using antiseptic and washing machines; and
- Consistently using disinfectant spray on all our equipment.
Cancellations
- Cancellations made at least THREE weeks from the start date of the class will receive an 80% refund.
- Cancellations made TWO to THREE weeks from the start date of the class will receive a 50% refund.
- There will be NO REFUND for any cancellations made LESS than TWO weeks from the start date of the class.
- BRICKS 4 KIDZ reserves the right to cancel a class due to low registration. Where this occurs, students may opt for another class if places are available OR receive a full refund.
Missed Classes
- Unfortunately, due to the nature of the program, we cannot provide a refund or credit for missed classes. However, your child can attend a replacement class in a different venue provided there is available space.
Payment
- All fees quoted are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer or using credit cards online through our secure payment gateway.
- Full payment should be made at the time of enrolment to confirm your child’s placement.
