Could BRICKS 4 KIDZ® be the foundation to becoming a Master Builder?
After smashing box office records with The LEGO Movie, the Danish toymaker is eyeing a move into television.
Lego is developing “reality competition formats” and will be launching an interactive TV series next year.
Jill Wilfert, Lego’s vice-president of global licensing and distribution, told The Guardian one idea for the reality show revolves around the Master Builders, the name given to the designers of Lego’s toy bricks and also the movie characters.
“(Lego is) exploring some reality competition show formats, which is new for us: the idea of becoming a Master Builder is something we think could be quite resonating,” Ms Wilfert said at the Mipcom TV conference in Cannes.
